It took a snow day for me to finish building this website! Working on it was a good excuse to not shovel (thanks for taking care of that, Simon!). Anyway, welcome!

A little background on us – my husband, Simon, and I bought a parcel of land in Ulster Park, NY this past April, nearly one year ago, with plans to start a farm. I am happy to report that those plans have come to fruition and we are indeed farming.

We have a lot to fill you in on…mainly our entire first season of being on the farm – terracing land, digging swales, building Hugelkulturs, planting seeds, building soil, raising chicks, building a green house, learning carpentry, learning to forage, making tinctures, canning tomato sauce…and so much more.
